Sometimes we need a tiny bit of inspiration and trust that self-love really is important, don’t we?

Here are 10 quotes that’ll get you through those days when you can’t stand yourself and couldn’t care less about self-love, self-care and being kind to your beautiful self.

Accept yourself. Love yourself as you are. Your finest work, your best movements, your joy, peace, and healing comes when you love yourself. You give a great gift to the world when you do that. You give others permission to do the same: to love themselves. Revel in self-love. Roll in it. Bask in it as you would sunshine.
~ Melodie Beattie

~ Kristin Chenoweth

It sounds like a cliche but I also learnt that you’re not going to fall for the right person until you really love yourself and feel good about how you are.
~ Emma Watson

If your mother did not know how to love herself, or your father did not know how to love himself, then it would be impossible for them to teach you to love yourself. They were doing the best they could with what they had been taught as children.
~ Louise L. Hay

To tell the truth is to become beautiful, to begin to love yourself, value yourself. And that’s political, in its most profound way.
~ June Jordan

Do something every day that is loving toward your body and gives you the opportunity to enjoy the sensations of your body.
~ Golda Poretsky

We all have the tendency to believe self-doubt and self-criticism, but listening to this voice never gets us closer to our goals. Instead, try on the point of view of a mentor or good friend who believes in you, wants the best for your, and will encourage you when you feel discouraged.
