She closes her eyes and there she is;
at her favorite spot.
Her soul home, her life force.
She sees it so clearly, she’s already there. The beach, the seagulls, the tiniest grains of sand between her toes. Her turquoise dress is lightly wrapping itself around her ankles, her hair is floating in the breeze.
She looks out at the water, hearing the gentle sound of the waves. Her body moves her to a special place. She sits down and takes a breath.
Will you join me here?, she asks.
Of course, I’m here., the gracious voice replies. I’ve been waiting so long for you to call me home.
I know, I wasn’t ready, wasn’t sure that you’d show up.
The presence next to her head is clear, it’s cool. A mesmerizing gush of wind, sparkling light blue, see-through but hard to miss.
How long have you been by my side?
A few years, maybe 6.
Will you move closer?
The wind is blowing through her hair as she feels the presence spread herself around her neck, her shoulders, gently enveloping her in a soft embrace.
She closes her eyes, moved to tears. There you are.
There. You. Are.
What do you need from me today?
I’m not sure, I’m looking for clarity, space, the courage to let go.
No words are exchanged, it’s a feeling, a knowing, a space between worlds and yet more real than anything she’s felt in months.
The color, it changes, gets brighter, clearer around her head.
And suddenly she feels the concrete blocks shoot up right next to her ears.
It’s happening again, the distance, the fears are creeping up.
Please, no, go away. I want to connect, I want you here. How can you come closer, how can you help?
Let me in, open up, breathe.
And so she doe, allowing the wind to flow through the tiniest cracks, over and under those concrete blocks of pent up terror and ancient heartache.
I can feel you coming closer. I can feel you take over my heart.
I am, my love. Don’t you worry. I am here.
The colors are changing, the mood is rising, the vibrancy of her body is increasing, buzzing in her heart chakra, releasing remnants of the past, emotions that no longer serve her highest good.
She’s ready.
You’re ready.
Thank you, darling grace.
You can always call me back, you know?
She smiles a knowing smile.
She knows.
