Triiiiiiggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeers

I’m participating in a 12-month coaching program that is kicking my BUTT and it’s only week 2.

I haven’t felt this triggered, this emotional, this frustrated, this angry, this “hyperventilating-in-the-car-while-trying-to-listen-to-the-trainings” since I started to heal my relationship to food.

And I LOVE it.

I LOVE feeling like I’m being pushed in a corner and asked to do things I do not feel ready to do.

I LOVE knowing/feeling/realizing that there are MASSIVE limiting beliefs being tasted at this point.

I LOVE the knowledge that a next phase of my life is right around the corner.

Because that is what happens when we are being triggered AND when we refuse to allow those triggers to get us DOWN.

We move to the next phase of our lives, we move up, we let go, we reach for new heights and though we may fail over and over and over again, we will not stay stuck in the place we’re at right now.

Triggers are GOOD.

They are gold.

They are guiding you along – IF you allow them to do just that.

If not, well, triggers will remain triggers.

They’ll show you the end of your comfort zone and you’ll remain just there.

They’ll show you your current limitations and you’ll stay stuck.

They’ll show you your fears and you’ll choose to ignore them with all your force.

Not wanting to feel your feelings? Not wanting to feel discomfort? Pushing feelings away because they’re not convenient?

You’ll stay stuck.

Not testing your limits over and over again? Not going where you don’t want to go? Not even taking the first step and taking a chance on yourself?

You’ll stay miserable.

Not allowing others to see the POTENTIAL in your heart and soul? Not even considering to invest in your healing? Not sticking with it for more than a couple of hours?

You will not grow.

There’s no point in even considering your triggers if you’re not willing to learn from them, to breathe into them, to allow them to show up,

BUT to not make them YOUR TRUTH.

Because the actual truth is that your triggers are NOT your truth.

They don’t tell the story of your worthiness.

Your desires.

Your power.

And boy, if you ever allowed yourself to accept your triggers and move WITH them, you’d experience how powerful you really, really, REALLY are.

You HAVE the power to escape diet prison.

You HAVE the power to eat what you want when you want without fear, guilt and shame.

You HAVE the power to leave that relationship, to go for that job, to make that money, to reach for the stars and land on the sun.

You HAVE the power to do what your heart has been yearning to do all along.

Don’t let the triggers, the stories in your mind, the concepts you have made up, the beliefs you have cultivated

keep you from your most epic life.

As for me?

I’ll continue to listen to the trainings in 10 minute intervals, hyperventilating, breathing, crying and accepting what I still have to heal.

I’ll grow with my triggers and move past every single one of them.

I’ll create massive change in the next year in the direction of dreams that have been lurking inside from the day I was born.

I’ll continue to be triggered.

I look forward to being triggered.

I am excited that more triggers are coming into my life.

Even if it feels uncomfortable AF, even if it’s not what I want to feel, even if it goes DEEP DEEP DEEEEP, I will not allow those triggers to keep me down.

To keep me small.

To tell me that I am not who I really, truly am.
